Why:
I loved Le Chevalier D'Eon and especially loved the idea of wearing a huge poofy dress. :)
Difficulty Level:
- Moderate
The dress itself was easy, but the underskirt was not. I wanted to do a more historically accurate pannier with this dress, but could not figure it out/figured I could reuse the hoop skirt for another cosplay, so I went with it. I also choose a cotton plain weave for the dress rather than some sort of satin because I felt like it would be more comfy. (Plus it helped make the sewing of the dress easy).
